The Sociology of Power is a peer-reviewed international open-access scientific journal, published by the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, under the auspices of the Philosophical and Sociological Faculty of the Institute of Social Sciences.
One of the journal's primary focuses is on power in all its forms, as well as the social and cultural inequalities, discrimination, and other negative effects that it generates..
The journal prioritizes the publication of emphasize relevant theoretical problems and recent empirical research, while encouraging interdisciplinary discussions. The topics covered in our issues range from actor-network theory to animal studies, and from political anthropology to the sociology of age.
The journal publishes original articles, reviews, translations and reviews on sociology and related disciplines.
